FRANCIS FUNDRAISER QUIZ  6 September 2008

On Saturday September 6 there is to be a night of laughs, frivolity, entertainment, merriment, wit, music, delight, comedy, foolishness, high jinks, nonsense, sport, tomfoolery -- in fact something for everyone!  It is a fund-raiser at the Folk Centre for the Francis Folk Gathering (Many of you will have received advance notice of this).

The format for the evening is to be a type of quiz... not the everybody join in type... but based on teams... but with lots of audience participation  (á la RockWiz)!

There will be three teams, with three people on each team.  The teams will be from The South Coast Folk Club, the Folk Centre and the Hills Folk Club… so plenty of good-natured rivalry will no doubt ensue!

The internationally famous Bob Fox from the North-East of England has been touring Australia and was in Adelaide in March 2008.  At the South Coast Folk Club he was supported by Jackie Smith, and at the Folk Centre he was supported by Adrienne Lovelock and Peter Day, all members of the Hills Folk Club.
